From the Association “To preserve the Woman” a unique idea was being realized, under one roof to exchange experiences, knowledge, customs and traditions- children, young and old people.
The Intergenerational Center will work on individual and group training programs with 25 families with Autistic children, with 25 talented children at Children’s Creative Workshop, with 50 young people and girls with specific educational needs. 20 single young mothers will be trained and motivated.
The intergenerational center provides creative work in 10 occupational therapists: sensory room for children, workshop for fashion design, art therapy room, iconography, music therapy, drama studio, holistic and culinary studio, rehabilitation room.
The center is built, equipped and furnished only with voluntary donations from the ladies of the Association and their companies. Corporate social responsibility has been implemented in practice in favor of generations of villagers.
With thanks to the District Governor and the Mayor of Varna and Municipality, Dr. Yordanka Nencheva – President of the Association and winner of the International Margaret Golding Award, turned to the donors and the benefactors.
The truncheon band was cut by a Mr. Peter Manchev – Deputy Regional Governor, Costa Bazitov – Deputy Mayor of Varna Municipality and Dr. Yordanka Nencheva.
The center was filled with hundreds of citizens, guests, benefactors and users of social services. The warm, friendly, home atmosphere with songs, music, theater and demonstrations of activities ended the holiday.
